| Hi guys, I have put 330 mile son teh new setup. The car runs nice, and rich. I have set teh redline at 6500K, and just after teh 300mile mark I started raising teh rpms above 4K, of couse with no boost. I know 500-600 mile sar eenough for the engine to be broken in. But some dyno shops told me to wait until I do 1500 miles. Am I going to be Ok with 600 or so, Or I have to go over 1000. I do not mind replacing sparkplugs and putting gas several more times. The problem is that I am driving without air filters so I can take the car out only when it is nice outside. At 100 miles, teh compression was between 130 and 140, and leak down was 7-8 %. My pistons are 8.5:1 CR. If everything checks out fine next week ( 700 miles, higher compression, same or better leakdown) shoudl I dyno it? Or take 2-3 more weeks? Any suggestions?
